MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

Between

SOCIETY FOR IT INITIATIVE FUND FOR e-GOVERNANCE, HARYANA (SOCIETY)

AND

ELECTRONICS AND COMPUTER SOFTWARE

EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL (ESC)

 

This agreement confirms the common desire of the ESC & Society for IT Initiative Fund For e-Governance, Haryana (Society) to maintain and further mutual cooperation and understanding for the purpose of promoting Electronics and Computer Software Services in general, and development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) business in the State of Haryana.

In order to establish the above, ESC and Society agree to cooperate in the following areas :

  1. To effectively make joint efforts towards Promotion and Development of IT, BPO, IT Enabled Services, Electronics and Computer Software Services industry.
  2. Promoting investments to the State of Haryana in the IT sector
  3. Exchange of Information : Print & Electronic Media - Internet, Website, Monthly Publications, Directories and other relevant publications.
  4. Assistance for participation in Trade Fair, Seminars & Workshops
  5. Assistance for organizing Conferences, Seminars and Workshops
  6. Advisory Services on Industry Status & Prospects.
  7. Receiving Incoming Delegations to promote their Business Missions.

This MoU becomes effective from the day of signing and shall remain operative until either of the two organisations requests its termination in writing to the other organisation at least three months in advance. Both organisations will the right to propose amendments if and when they consider such amendments necessary to improve the cooperation between them.
